FOLD (fold.cm) is an open publishing platform with a unique structure that lets writers link media cards to the text of their stories. FOLD is used by journalists, educators, and storytellers around the world.
Writers can annotate their text with media cards (videos, photos, gifs, maps, tweets, audio, free text, links and more).
FOLD users can follow other authors and see a feed of their recent activity—including analytics for stories they've published.
Media cards branch from the text, and can be explored by clicking links within FOLD or with the side arrows.
Writers type directly into cards to build their story. Media cards can be created by searching through YouTube, Soundcloud, Flickr, and other services within the writing environment.
